Brent Crude Trading At $73.26/Bbl

Crude oil prices marginally rose Rs9 to Rs5,853 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was trading 0.55 per cent higher at $69.09 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.03 per cent lower at $73.26 per barrel in New York. On MCX, crude oil for December delivery traded higher by Rs9 or 0.15 per cent at Rs5,853 per barrel in 10,449 lots. Analysts said the raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
